SPS Officers
Presidency

Hi! My name is Sid(dhant) (sid.mal "at" berkeley.edu) and I'm one of the SPS co-presidents this year! You're always welcome to reach out in case you have an idea for SPS or need help with anything!

Hiya! I'm Elena Grace Vasquez (elenavasquez “at” berkeley.edu), a fourth year majoring in Physics and (kinda) Applied Math. I am working on spatiotemporally resolved energy flow research with the Ginsberg Group (in Chemistry, oops), and am planning to pursue Medical Physics (which is not quite biophysics, come talk to me about it!). When I am not in the reading room doing problem sets, I can be found dancing, enjoying nature, or traveling (with what time? I can't tell you).
Long live the rulers.
Vice-Presidency

Hi! I am Pablo Castaño Basurto (pcastano "at" berkeley.edu), I'm a junior majoring in physics! Aside from learning theoretical physics, I like playing sports, listening to music, reading, hanging out with my girlfriend and friends, and sleeping. Feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to discuss anything about physics, campus, or just be friends!

Hello, I'm Vibhu Ravindran (vibhu.ravindran “at” berkeley.edu), a third year majoring in math and physics and I'll be one of the vice presidents of SPS this year. My research is currently in condensed matter theory. When I'm not staring blankly into space you can find me playing the violin, hiking or watching movies (of all genres).
The firm right-hand of the club.
Secretaries

Hi! I am Howard Meng (howardm12138 "at" berkeley.edu ) I am currently a third year student studying CS and physics. I enjoy quantum stuff, playing guitar, and finding cool places to eat out! Feel free to talk to me for anything! I am doing research in quantum information and in the field of condensed matter.

Hi! My name is Jasmine Crawford ( JasmineCrawford "at" berkeley.edu ). I am a fourth year student majoring in math and physics, and one of this years SPS secretaries! I am currently doing research in Medical Physics with N3AS. When I'm not working, I can be found eating ice cream, reading, or riding horses. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or just to say hi!
The true brains of the operation. Widely reputed for being able to take pencil to paper and pedal to the metal.
Treasurers

He is kind based except for lack of uploaf.

Daniel Xing (xingd "at" berkeley.edu) I'm a Co-Treasurer for SPS and a 4th year Physics Major, 2nd Year Transfer. I do research in Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics and am interested in Particle/Nuclear Theory for graduate school.
You can count on them to give their two cents at any cost.
Outreach

Lack of uploaf.
In the name of education, this brave soul sends emails to people over and over again until they respond. Truly a noble hero.
Equity and Inclusion Chair

Hi! My name is Morgan Cole (morganlcole "at" berkeley.edu) and I'm a 4th year majoring in Physics and Astrophysics and minoring in Math and Science Education. I work on studies of galaxy clusters in the cosmic microwave background as well as plasma accelerator experiments, and I hope to study astroparticle physics in graduate school. I also love rollerskating, painting, and vegan baking!
Webmasters

Hello! My name is Adarsh Iyer (adarshiyer "at" berkeley.edu). I am a second year Physics and Math double major. As webmaster, I'll be posting problem of the week for the SPS website. If I can somehow finish a problem set on time, I'll probably be playing piano, listening to classical music, reading some philosophy, or doing pointless thought experiments. See you around!

Lack of uploaf.
Like a spider does a fly, they put SPS on the web.
Seminar Chairs

Hey everyone! I am Michelle Dong (she/her) and I am a sophomore majoring in physics and math, and I am currently researching in High Energy Physics Theory. I have also done several Astrophysics research projects in the past. Besides, I enjoy watching musicals, dancing, playing Electric Organ, trying different sports, doing palm-leaf weaving, writing, and reading some random literature and history. You can often find me in Physics and Evans, so please come talk to me!!!

Hi! I'm Ameya Kunder (a.kunder “at” berkeley.edu), a fourth year majoring in physics and computer science. Alright how about instead of reading my bio, you come to a seminar and chat with me?
Certifiably the diplomats of SPS—wars have been waged and fought over the last slice of pizza.
Grillmasters

Lack of uploaf.

Hey y’all! I’m Kenny (kenneth.ng "at" berkeley.edu) and I’m a second year majoring in Physics and Applied Math (with a minor in Public Policy). I’m currently doing research in experimental condensed matter physics but I’m also interested in AMO and other areas of applied physics. If I’m not crying in the physics building you’ll probably see me in Eshleman or driving somewhere dangerously fast. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or if you just wanna talk! :)
Before you can fill your brain, you must first fill your stomach. The only people in miles who can competently do tech support on a grill.
Projects

Hey! I'm Brandon, a senior physics major and one of the Projects Co-chairs this year! I'm really interested in particle physics and I'm currently doing research in N3AS to feed my hunger to learn more. When I'm not in the Reading Room trying to meet a deadline, I love to listen to music (probably a little too much), play guitar, or watch TV and movies. Chances are high you'll find me in the Physics Building on any given day (weekends included), so don't ever hesitate to say hi if you see me! :D

I'm Arundhati Ghosal (arundhati2207 berkeley.edu), a fourth year Physics major and I am interested in condensed matter physics. I have two names so feel free to call me Ninni. I love talking to people and leaning more about different cultures. Some of my interests outside physics: Taekwondo, hula hooping, getting bobaless boba, traveling, and baking. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about physics or life :)
They can build you up and break you down.
Competitions Coordinator

Her name is Vivian Gao (vivian.g “at” berkeley.edu), and she's third year physics and math double major. She is extremely enthusiastic about fundamental physics and everything relates to that (she thinks it's just sooo cool!!!) When she is not trying to catch up with the deadline, she loves reading/writing poetry and playing basketball and reading about physics.

My name is Binhan Hua (binhan_hua “at” berkeley.edu), and I'm a fourth year physics and data science student from Irvine. I am currently doing AMO research with the FlyG project under professor Müller. Outside school, I enjoy watching anime, playing videogames (all platforms!), watching golf, and staying in bed for as long as possible.
Media Chair

Jinze Wu (jinzewu “at” berkeley.edu) is a fourth year intended physics and math double major. Outside of class, Jinze enjoys collecting weird historical things and memes.
